Join us on a fantastical adventure into the deep, dark wood with Little Red Riding Hood.

This time, we’ll be scaling the beanstalk with Jack and Dani the storyteller.

Dig for victory and help the war effort!  Dani the storyteller will help you to grow your own fruit and vegetables back in 1943, and afterwards Emily will tell you about some colourful government posters from the Second World War.

Fluttering around your summer garden are butterflies.

The first part of our seasonal series will evoke the days of spring and summer, and all that comes with it!  After Dani’s story, Emily will showcase a summer-themed document and tell you about how people enjoyed the beach in years gone by.

The second part of our seasonal series will move onto autumn and winter, with Dani leading you on a sensory journey through the second part of the year.

Adventure into the delta and grasslands of Botswana, meeting some archive animals who live far away! Dani will hold story time, and Emily will tell you more about the documents which inspired the journey! 

Mystical, magical creatures such as dragons and unicorns live inside the documents at The National Archives.

In our last Tots episode until Christmas, delve into treasures of the collection and learn about an unlikely animal who inspired Henry Cole to keep documents safe! Dani and Emily will take you back in time to learn about this fascinating story!
