Last entry to our Exhibition Gallery is one hour before it closes each day.

Bank holidays and other closure dates
We are closed every Monday, including all English bank holidays, and on 24 December. On 23 December, we close at 17:00. On Thursday 2 April, the gallery will close at 17:00, not 19:00. Due to planned maintenance, The National Archives will be closed over the Easter bank holiday weekend. We will be providing updates here on our website, please check before planning your visit.
