The Management board advises the Chief Executive and Keeper on the plans and strategic direction of The National Archives, providing regular reviews of performance and key risks. It is made up of the Chief Executive and Keeper (who chairs), the five executive directors and up to four non-executive directors. The board meets monthly and meeting summaries are available online. All non-executive directors also sit on The National Archives’ Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee – our main governance oversight committees.
