Transcript

My Lord,

The great utility [value] , and good effects of Brandy in cases of Cholera, and its high price rendering it unattainable by the lower orders of His Majesty’s subjects. I beg to suggest to your Lordships, the propriety of appointing places in different parts of London, under certain Rules and Regulations which your Lordships Wisdom may suggest, for the Sale of Pure Brandy, free of Duty, until the Cholera shall have ceased. I am,

Your Lordship’s,

Very Humble Servant,

George Watson
