RAIL 1015/002; this is
part of a poster put out by the London and North Western Railway.
It gives the names, addresses and offences of 19 people convicted
of travelling on the railway without a ticket, 1890.
As you read these sources look for:
(i) Is this crime the same as crimes committed for hundreds of years?
(ii) Is this crime just a new opportunity for an old crime?
(iii) Is this an entirely new crime?
In Source 7, note the size of the fines.
Put some of the examples
you have found from these Sources into your Gallery Worksheet.
