JUST 1/695; an entry from
the 1241 Eyre Roll. A trial by jury for helping thieves. The jury
seem not to have heard any evidence; probably they based their decision
on knowing the people and the events.
If the members of the jury
knew everyone involved, does that mean a fairer decision, or a less
fair one?
