Student placements
The National Archives’ student placement scheme offers students the opportunity to apply their existing skills and knowledge to research-based projects, while developing new expertise in an organisation that straddles the government and cultural sectors. With placement projects ranging from one to three months, students will be mentored by a designated supervisor throughout their time at The National Archives, and equipped with a structured learning and development plan that allows students to track their progress.
These placements are only available to students who belong to our Doctoral Training Partnerships, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
For further information, please contact the Research team or check this page for updates.
