This document describes the corrupt practices that took place in
the electoral borough of Grampound, in Cornwall. A Bill was introduced
in 1819 to remedy the situation, and the borough's two seats were
eventually transferred to Yorkshire. It was the first time representation
had been redistributed in this way. However, this piecemeal reform
was considered too slow and the campaign for wholesale change continued.
