I am a Native of Kasama I came to England in 1914 with Mr. Gore Browne and I left him in 1915 in which I went in Army in 2/19 London and also in Middx Regt 5 years Service however I would like to ask you if you can get my people if they can help me in way getting back as I have been out of work ever since I came out of the Army in 25/5/1921 I tried to get back under the Rhodesian Government and they would only send me half way home.
Sir I beg to inform you that my real name is Chanda, my Father name is Kakusa and also I hereby declare my relations of mine they are as follows:-

Chief Kone
Chief Mumana near Kawambwa
Chikwanda
Nkaka Kone Village
Sir I would be ever so glad if s[o]me thing can be done for me I came under the name of Chanda Bulaya which you may find that name in your office.
