Chief Luale will now give you a vivid illustration of a hunting expedition in his own country. In the Chiefs [sic] Country there are no Meat shops, if you want meat you must go out and hunt for it, and hunting with a land over-run with wild animals, you must if out prepare to meet these animals. You are here the Chief, arrayed ready. The Shield protects the body the faces and the skull, they carry no firearms, only the spear and no living man can use the spear like the African native. The tip dipped in deadly poison prior to going out. On penetrating the skin or hide of the beast it means instantaneous death. Now watch the Chief see how he goes out in the early morning, how he scents, how he attacks, finally how he kills.
