  • Sir Peter Whiteley (1920-2016), Commandant General of the Royal Marines: collected papers 1970-1980 (NMRN 2023/27)
  • Chart showing the Spanish Armada (from the Spanish perspective) as it leaves on voyage to England. The plan depicts the Armada off the coast of Lisbon on May 29, 1588. Thought to have been created in Italy circa 1588, possibly by Pietro di Nobili. 1588 (NMRN 2023/56)
  • Alan Michael (Mike) Tritton, Lieutenant Commander: pilot's flying log book 1939-1945 (NMRN 2023/120)
  • Warrant, dated 14 October 1652, signed by William Constable as president of the Council of State for Oliver Cromwell and Parliament asking the Commissioners of the Royal Navy to fit out the warship the Armes of Medenblick for sending to the coast of West Africa. This followed a petition from the Company of Merchants trading in West Africa for Royal Naval protection against Dutch competition in the trade of gold, ivory and enslaved Africans. 1652 (NMRN 2023/114)
