Administrative / biographical background: |
The Forelands, in Bromsgrove, was purchased in 1919 as a branch of the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (Woodlands), specialising in the treatment of children for tubercular bone disease. By 1967 there were only three children attending the convalescent school, and on December 21st of that year the school closed. |
