Catalogue description Local Groups

At its height CHE had 60 local groups in England and Wales varying widely in levels and types of activity. This series mainly contains newsletters and correspondence giving an indication of the activities and interests pursued by various groups. The papers in this section were collected by CHE, and have been arranged in alaphabetical order, but further material from several of the groups can be found elsewhere in the Hall-Carpenter Archive collected by HCA directly from the groups concerned. Users are advised to check the database for complete references for all groups.
