Response

1. The company or entity from which your Ministerial Department procures its electricity (and previously procured its electricity from the start of the 2022 financial year (1st April 2022) to now).

Our current electricity supplier is EDF Energy, and they have been our supplier for several years, including throughout the period you have specified, from the beginning of the 2022 financial period until now.

2. The amount (if any) of the procured electricity which comes (or came) from renewable energy sources, but not in the form of Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) certificates.

EDF states that renewable sources represented 21% of its average fuel mix during the period April 2022 to March 2023.
