Having studied your Annual Report and Accounts, I would like further information on the following expenses that are not broken down but clearly comprise many elements that should be revealed:
Goods and services £5,982,000
Contracted services £8,518,000
These are very large sums that should be subdivided.

A breakdown of the ‘Goods and Services’ can be found here. The £8.5m of contracted services is comprised of external services to support the delivery of our services and includes digital development work, the transfer of records from government departments and the delivery of our events and exhibitions. We do not hold the same financial breakdown of these contracted services. Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) does not oblige a public authority to provide information if it is already reasonably accessible by other means.
In this case the exemption applies because the information is already available on Contracts Finder, cited above.
