Robert le Pyl, rector of the church of Torre Bryan

 

Whereas Robert le Pyl holds lands and tenements in the manor of Kyngesteyntone, in fee simple of the gift of Robert de Clere (and which he had of the gift of Sir Robert Burdoun late lord of the manor); and 1d of annual rent issuing from the land of Pontesfenne, which John Ayleward and Matill' his wife hold for the life of said Matill', with the reversion of said land; and 2/- of rent issuing from a tenement which Isolda atte Stone holds for her life in the manor aforesaid, with the reversion of said land, rendering to Robert de Clere annually, after five years have been completed, £10; Robert de Clere now quitclaims all the above rent of £10, lands, tenements, rents and reversions.
