Messuages, etc. in Spychewyke and Torrebryan, which Master Roger [etc.], together with Richard Daber, clerk, and John Almyscomb', now dec'd, had of the gift of the said John Bernehouse. To hold to the said John for his life, and after his death, to his son William and the legitimate male heirs of his body; and failing these, similarly to David, Henry, Edward, and Thomas, all sons of said John Bernehouse; and failing all these to the legitimate heirs of said John and his wife Joan, daughter of William Walraunde; to the legitimate heirs of said John; and, finally, to the right heirs of said John.
