Right-hand indenture of a Fine, made at Westminster, on the morrow of St. John the Baptist, 4 Henry VI:

Henry Spryngg' and Alice his wife, deforciants

 

A messuage, 4 gardens, 40 acres of land, 2 acres of meadow and 4 acres of wood, in Kenyston and Sperkwill. Said premises, having been acknowledged by Henry and Alice to be the right of said John, were returned to them by John, to hold of the chief lords of the fee for their lives; and after their deaths, to go to John Rem and Thomasia his wife, the daughter of Henry, and the heirs of their bodies; and if they died without heirs, to go to the right heirs of the aforesaid Alice.
