The photographs show static views of Great North of Scotland Railway locomotives, some featuring staff posed on the footplate and on the track, and may have been the work of the nineteenth-century photographer R H Bleasdale whose work is extensively represented in the LPC Collection. (Further references to R H Bleasdale and the LPC Collection are to be found in other NRM collections).
