WYL500/A The DEEDS relate [chiefly] to lands in the West Riding of Yorkshire and are arranged under TOWNSHIPS in alphabetical order. The original grouping of documents has not been interfered with, but as the majority of deeds were not grouped at all, these have been arranged chronologically under their respective townships, deeds relating to specific properties being grouped together where possible. They are written on parchment and paper - all are legible, only a few being difficult to read owing to physical defects in the documents.
