Comprising mainly of files which contain minutes from the various sub-committeees (including Finance and Legal and Traffic, Civil Maintenance, Rolling Stock, Exhibition and Publicity, Museum, Editorial and Publications), reports, correspondence, rough notes and ephemera concerning the Keighley and Worth Valley Preservation Society. Bob Cryer was the Chairman of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway and was heavily involved in the set-up in 1962, running and organisation of the Preservation Society for the railway. He also edited and co-ordinated a quarterly review about the Society, 'Push and Pull'. (The BBC film The Railway Children was filmed on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway and there are several documents relating to this.) |
