Staveley Ironworks (now Stanton and Staveley). The records have little or no connection with the Staveley works but were a family archive of a former partner. (Deposited 1970). Records including:

 

Detailed journals and ledgers (29 volumes) of the South Yorkshire ironmasters' syndicate 1690-1766. They cover forges and furnaces in South Yorkshire (Roche, Wadsley, Attercliffe, Sheffield forges; Chapel, Rockley, Knottingley, Elmley furnaces; Rotherham slitting mill) and some in North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (Carburton Clipstone forges; Staveley, Kirkby furnaces; Renishaw mill). They give information about costs, sales, clients and partners.
