Joseph Rodgers and Sons Ltd, cutlers. A small collection of correspondence saved when the records were destroyed in the 1930s. Some are photocopies only, the originals having been sold for their postal interest. (Purchase 1973).

Letters and orders from customers in Britain, some relating to shipment of American orders. 1817-1819, 1840-1851.

 

Letter and orders from customers overseas (U.S.A., W. Indies, India, S. America, Germany, Russia) 1824-1853 (including legal business re counterfeit of firm's labels in New York 1843).
