Reference: 1922/D84
Title: Photograph Album/Diary
Description:

Series Title: Original Diaries

Two albums containing diary and photographs from various climbing expeditions in the Alps. Although there is almost no clue as to the identity of the author, they mention many AC members as climbing companions, including L.M. Earle, the Rev. E. Calus Selwyn, Eric Slack, H.V. Reade, H. Raeburn, W.N. Ling and Eric Greenwood. A possible candidate for the author is E.M. Bradley, who became a member of the AC at about the same time as Earle, Raeburn and Ling. In addition, Bradley gave his home address as Nottingham, which is where the author came from. The only difficulty with this identification is that the handwriting does not appear to match Bradley's (see 1922/D54).
