Correspondence (mainly typed copies, although some original material also) regarding the setting up of the Lyceum Alpine Club, and the breaking away of the section from the Lyceum Club in about 1909 to form the Ladies' Alpine Club. This includes a lively although scrupulously polite correspondence between Mrs le Blond and the Lyceum Club to retrieve the books which had been donated to the Alpine section by members, who now wished their books to go towards the new independent library of the Ladies' Alpine Club.
