Series Title: Original Letters Although listed as "Parker Papers", the letters of Alfred Parker are only a fraction of the material in this file. The copies of Parker's letters were acquired by J.P. Farrar during his time as assistant editor of the AJ, and much of the rest of the material was acquired and filed by him in this capacity. The bulk of material in this file was in fact sent to Farrar by Henry Montagnier during the War. See items for further details. Dates: J.P. Farrar Papers 1907 - 1920. Contains: File: Covering letter from Henry Montagnier to J.P. Farrar 29 December 1919, with typed copies of documents, extracts from journals etc relating to the Hamel accident on Mont Blanc, August 1820.
