Series Title: Original Letters Miscellaneous collection of letters, manuscripts and typescripts, which have been tipped into a guardbook. Material includes sketches and letters to and from climbing companions E.L. Strutt, and J.H. Wicks, and J.P. Farrar. Much of the remainder is notes on routes climbed by Wilson throughout his career. See also D1/20B & D1/20C, and Wilson's privately published book "An Epitome of Fifty Years' Climbing" (1933). According to this book, the notes were edited for publication by H.F. Montagnier. Other miscellaneous items include: typed extracts from the "Revue Alpine" re the Col des Hirondelles 1924, 1925 [2 pp.]; "Mountaineering as a Doctor's Holiday" (ms) n.d. [10 pp.]; A typed copy of a review of a book by E.R. Blanchet c.1932 [12 pp.]; a typed obituary of Henry Montagnier, which was not written by Wilson, but used by him to write the obituary in the AJ; short ms article on the physiology of Everest climbers c.1933 [7 pp.].
