Official fuhrerbucher issued to Furrer Jr, Guntren and Julen, containing testamonials from climbers who had engaged them as guides. Guntren's book was issued in 1890, but contains entries (?copied from an earlier notebook) dated 1888. The final entry in Julen's notebook is dated 1930, but there are visa stamps for 1931 and 1932. The book for Furrer Sr is a blank notebook, containing similar testamonials. Dates: Furrer (Sr): July 1851 - September 1882 Furrer (Jr): July 1908 - August 1941 Guntren: [July 1888] July 1890 - August 1913 Julen: July 1906 - August 1930 [1932].
