Diary found on the body of Maurice Wilson, who had died while engaged on an attempt to climb Everest in 1934. His body was discovered by members of the 1935 Everest expedition, and returned, along with other personal possessions, to his close friend , Mrs Enid Evans. The diary was later purchased from Mrs Evans by L.N. Frank, and donated to the AC by hiim in 1965 (as per note with the diary. See also AJ Vol.LXX p.269).(see also AC minutes 26 January 1965).
