This collection of documents consists mainly of deeds of the Baskerville family of Richardson in Winterbourne Bassett and their property, from the 13th to 19th centuries. The family was a branch of the Baskervilles of Eardisley, Herefordshire; and was connected by marriage to the Baskervilles of Aberedw, and Clyro Court, Radnor. (See Burke's Landed Gentry, 1858, pp. 55-57.)
