Lanc., of a lease for 100 years of a messuage, with lands, etc. called Humbleton and Arlawbankes, in Gainford, co. Durham, granted by John Cowlton of Barnard Castle, co. Durham, gent., 28 July 4 James 5 [1606] to William Clopton of Sledwich, co. Durham, esq. (father of the William Clopton aforesaid) and assigned to him, 16 August 4 Charles I [1628] to the now assignors.
