Settlement on the marriage of William Smyth of Upton in Hasler, yeoman, and Elizabeth, daughter and heir of John Hemynge of Upton, yeoman, whereby the said William Smyth and Mary Smyth of Norton, co. Worc., his mother, covenant to levy a fine to Thomas Walford of Binton, gent., and George Hemynge of Preston-upon-Stour, yeoman, of a messuage, garden, orchard, two acres of land and one acre of pasture in Norton, co. Worc., to the use of Mary Smyth for life, then to the use of William Smyth for life and then to the use of Elizabeth his wife for life, with remainder to the heirs of their bodies and in default to the right heirs of William Smyth.
