Mortgage of Samuel Price of Stratford-upon-Avon, distiller, to Michael Evetts of the same, yeoman, of a messuage in Stratford in Swine Street, late in the possession of Thomas Newcombe, Mrs. Delagar and Samuel Welchman and now in the possession of the mortgagor, having a warehouse of Richard Allen, grocer, on one side and a tenement late Thomas Newcombe's, called the Green Dragon, on the other, together with barns, stables, etc. thereto belonging for 500 years to secure the payment of £100 with interest on 1 January ensuing.

 

Witnesses: Dionysius Bradley, Thomas Swan.

 

Endorsed with an acquittance from Michael Evetts to Dionysius Bradley for £107.5s. 0d principal and interest, with covenant to assign the mortgage to him or at his direction, 15 December 1749.
