Administrative / biographical background:

A Wesleyan Church existed in Trimdon Street from at least the mid-19th century. It was in Durham Road Circuit, and then in Sunderland West [MC.Su6]

 

In 1951 Kings Hall Mission, Crescent Row [see C.Su14] amalgamated with Wesley Hall. In 1971 Wesley Hall was absorbed into Westmoor Road Methodist Church, Pallion [C.Su28]
