By (a) Robert Sergeant, son of Adam Sergeant to (b) the church of St. Peter, Gloucester, and the community One virgate of land with appurtenances, in the hamlet of Leye, in the parish of Westbur' which Adam Sergeant held in fee of Henry de Mineriis for 10s. for all services, which 10s. Ysabel, eldest daughter of the aforesaid Henry has given to support the works of the church of St. Peter, Gloucester. Witnesses: Sirs Henry de Bath, Peter of Eggeswrthe, William of Helyun, Geoffrey de Weston, then doorkeeper at the abbey at Gloucester, Walter de la Grave, Nicholas the clerk. |
