Description:

Between (a) Edward Story, Bishop of Chichester, and (b) the Dean and Chapter of Chichester for keeping (a)'s anniversary.

 

30s. rent on certain lands and tenements bought through (b), for which (a) paid £60.

 

On the 21st January annually, (b) are to pay to the Dean 20d., to the Canon Residentiary 12d., to the canons not residentiary 10d., to vicars of the higher grade 8d., to each vicar priest of [inferior] grade 6d., to those vicars who are not priests 4d., to the subdean 8d., to the two king's chaplains 8d. each, to the 8 choristers 2d. each, to the two censerbearers 4d. each, to the janitor 4d., to the two [sacristans] 6d. each, to the 4 bellringers 8d. each.

 

Also 2s. for candles to burn round the tomb on that day.
