There are three strays at the end of the series from Hastings Rural District Council for the areas of Guestling and Ore which were taken into the Hastings County Borough in 1938. |

Under the provisions of the Hastings Corporation Act 1900 and the council's by-laws in respect of new streets and buildings, covenants were entered into by the owners that the drains from their property to the public sewer were and shall remain private drains and that the local authority will have no responsibility for them. |
