JOHN ASHBURNHAM, esq. one of the Groomes of the King's Bedchamber, - for £380 - of all that messuage or tenement with barn and orchard belonging and 4 pieces of land &c. containing 20 ac. called Knolle and Mapsteds; 5 ac. called Scottefeild; Rowe Brookes (9 ac.); Cockowe-wishe (2 ac.); Whetstone-wishe (4 ac.); all in Ashburnham, sometime in the occupation of William Bray and then of the said Hen. Cruttenden, and covenant to levy and acknowledge a Fine of the same
