By ALGERNON, EARL OF NORTHUMBERLAND, Captain General of the King's army and fleet employed 'in this present expedition' of WILLIAM ASHBURNHAM, esq., Lieutenant Colonel of 'my own Regiment' giving him power to hold Courts Martial and impose punishment in regard to the 1300 soldiers raised in the county of Southants, who under the command of the said Wm. Ashburnham, were to march to the general Rendezvous at Selby upon Ouse, Yorkshire; 'and some of those soldiers have already upon the march mutenyed and disobeyed their commanders'
