By JOHN THARPE of Nenfeild, butcher, and MARY his wife, one of the daughters of John Weekes decd., to RICHARD WEEKES, brother of the said Mary, - in consideration of £25 paid by John Elphicke of Ashbornham, yeoman, executor of the will of Richard Weekes late of Ashbornham decd., - of and in divers lands and tenements in Cattesfeild and Penherst which were granted by the said Richard Weekes decd. to Elizabeth Weekes, widow, by deed dated 10 July, 15 Chas. I to the use of the 4 children of John Weeks to be equally divided between them, with a proviso for defeazance on payment by the said Richard to the said 4 children of John Weekes, of whom the said Mary is one, of £100 to be equally divided
