By WILLIAM BUCK of london, citizen and blacksmith, to the Hon. WILLIAM ASHBURNHAM of a messuage called Griggs, with barns, stables & c belonging and lands as follows: Griigs field, 2 ac. 11 rods, next the highway; Griggs field, 10 ac below the other parcel; Hilly field, 2 ac. 20 rods, Griggs Forestall, 3 ac. 23 rods; A field on the east of the said Forestall, 3 ac. 20 rods; 1 ac. above the orchard; the house and Barnfield; a field behind the barn, 5 ac. 36 rods; all late in the tenure of John Ketchlow and late were the possession of Richard Relfe lying in Dallington and Brightling

 

Also Lower Begland field, 4 ac. 6 rods; Upper Begland field, 8 ac. 1 rod; three fields of arable and pasture with wood, 17 ac.; Fox Earth field in Begland, 4 ac.; Rock Pitt field, 10 ac.; 3½ ac. lately grubbed up; Catts Upper Brookefield, 3 ac. 3 roods; Eastons field lying next above the last, 3 ac.; Brick-kill field with the shaws of wood, 12½ ac.; A field on the E. of the last, 3½ ac.; Woodland called Broomy wood adjoining the last and on the E. thereof, 1½ ac.; Holy field with woodland, 5 ac

 

All the last mentioned being late in the tenure of the said Richard Relfe in Dallington and Brightling, abutting N. on the highway from Dallington towards Battell, lands late of Richard Relfe and late of Josias Barham, W. and N., lands late of Anth. May, gent., called Hornden and Haselden woods, Upper Panningridge woods and Lower Panningridge, W. and S., other lands of Richard Relfe called Catts Lower Brooke and the Hill field, S. and E. and to a wood and two fields called Colliers Lodge field and Fords Hopgarden field, N. and to St Ridge Marle Pitfeild and to St Ridge Sandhole field and to Castle field, N. and E
