Custodial history:

The originals of these charters were purchased at the 1936 Phillipps sale but by 1953 had been given by Sir Sylvanus to Sir Robert Boyle, bart, who lived at Ockham in Salehurst, to which they relate (see SRS 53.29, n3). The copies were originally listed as SAS E 381-5

 

A copy of a fifth charter which related to Bromley in Surrey has been transferred to Surrey Record Office
