Grant of mess. etc. in Enson alias Endeston, Highway Close 4½a., Chessel 2½a., Mill Trees 4½a., Stovord 4½a., Prior's Marsh alias Common Close 3½a., Knowle 7½a., Little Close 3a., 4½a. in Broad Mead, ½a. in Dudwitch, 4½a. in common meadow called Kettle's Moor, ½a. in Dun Mead near Shilling Pool by Margaret, wid. of Ezekiell Barkham of Wells in trust for the payment of a school master and the apprenticing of the children, 1654; conveyance in trust of 5 mess., 3 gdens. and 18a. land in or near the City of Wells by Edward Fuller and his wife Elizabeth (widow of William Martin) and Silvester Chilcott to the uses of Adrian Hickes's will, 1701; lease and release of 12a. meadow in the closes lying on the east side of Fussells Drove at Brindham in St. John, Glastonbury by Peter Davis and Guydo Clinton, both of Wells, in trust for Barkham and Hickes's charities, 1720, conveyances in trust of 40a. of meadow or pasture in New Close, part of the Manor of Glastonbury (except a rent of £2-3-4) 1732, and of 2 decayed mess. with 15a. on the west and 18a. called Laurenceham on the east, 3a. called Horsecroft, 8a. in Eastmead, 2a. in Beastonfield, 5a. called Dolhorne Lake, 2½a. in Easter Sutton, Lympsham, 9a. called Greatbroadcrofts, 9a. called Mead, Dry and Long Close, 3 yards called Catchacre in the westfield of Little Pennard, in Pylle and East Pennard, 1732 to the uses of Philip Hodges' will; conveyance in trust of a cottage and 28a. called the Upper or Little Hazle Hills in Norwood Park, Glastonbury to the uses of the United Charities, 1735.
