GRANT by William Cordel, son and heir of Roger Cordel to Hugh de Kendale and Margery his wife, of a messuage in the vill of Castre, abutting on the King's way and on the Abbot's land - and three acres of arable land in the fields of Castre, lying, one acre in Normangate, half an acre and half a rood at Herbermor, a rood and a half "en le Thornis", and a rood and a half "en le Thornis near Edmundisley".
