Description:

COVENANT between Geoffrey fil.Galfridi Illing, of Castre near Burgh St.Peter and Eustace the chaplain son of Adam de Kyneburk, in Norwich diocese, whereby the said Geoffrey grants and leases to the said Eustace, for 36sh. paid in hand, half an acre of meadow in the meads of Castre, viz:- in Micclelangemedue near Richard de Salfledesbis meadow - and another half acre of meadow and the third part of another half acre in Mor - and an acre of arable land in the fields of Eyliswrthe or Morfurlong, abutting on Stretegate - and a rent due yearly from Hawise, widow of Roger Budde from the tenement which she holds from him, the said Geoffrey in Eyliswrthe: for a term of six years. And if the said Hawise die before the end of the term, the said Eustace instead of the said money paid in hand to the said Geoffrey, shall hold the whole messuage, with toft, croft and houses, land and meadow which Roger Budde and the said Hawise held from the said Geoffrey by service of 4sh,yearly, to the end of the said term.
