GRANT by Ralph fil.Roberti a Bovetun de Castre to William fil.Walteri de Castre and Matilda his wife, of three acres of arable land in the fields of Castre and a rood of meadow, etc; rent 3sh. yearly in support of the celebration of the Mass of St.Mary in Castre church, as long as there shall be a priest there for that office, namely twice a year, on All Saints' Day 18d. and on the F. of St.Peter, 18d. And if there be no available priest there, the said rent to be paid to the Friars Minor and the Friars Preachers at Stamford.
