Catalogue description Draft Agreement

Whereby firstly, in consideration of the premises, S. Laxon (described as in 353/19/12) agrees to offer to E. Laxon & Co. Ltd. (of 10, Bishop St., Coventry, wholesale grocers) premises recently purchased from Charles Orton, the sale to occur before 24th. June, 1938 and to realise at least £3,000 plus an equivalent of sums spent in alterations; secondly, disputes about the alteration-sums will be referable to two arbitrators (one from each side); thirdly, the company will pay a 10% deposit to S. Laxon and the balance within three calendar motns thereafter - within one month of deposit the vendor will provide an abstract of title (commencing as to part of the property with a 3rd. July 1899 deed (made between Mary Watson and George Westcombe Hawkins), as to the remainder, with one dated 18th. Sept., 1908 (made between Henry, and Mary Lane, Conway)); and fourthly, the purchase-option will be subject to the Birmingham Law Society's General Conditions.
