Whereby the Warws. Coal Co. Ltd. will sell to the Lockhurst Lane, (Foleshill) Co-operative Society Ltd. a triangular piece of land (651 sq. yd. in area) formerly part of Durham House Farm, Keresley, Warws. as shown on an attached plan, reserving minerals to the vendors, in consideration of £162/15/- whereof £16/5/- will form a deposit on the agreement's signature; the transaction will be completed at the offices of Messrs. Twist & Son, 3, the Quadrant, Coventry (the vendors' solicitors) with interest paid after (an unspecified) completion-date at £5%p.a.. Title to the premises will commence with a deed (24th June, 1909) wherein Joseph Smart and Thomas Courtenay North were the first, and the vendors the second, parties. A survey will be made of the property. On completion, the purchasers will be free to erect a temporary building or sign approved by the vendors. A fence will be installed as envisaged in 353/18/1. Objections and requisitions concerning the title or its abstract must be sent to Twists within ten days of receiving the abstract. The vendors may rescind the sale if they cannot (or will not) within 7 days comply with any objection made by the purchasers. The vendors will make a proper assurance of the premises with engrossment achieved ten days before completion. If the purchasers default the sale will be withdrawn.
