Catalogue description Assignment

Whereby, having recited:- firstly, a 10th Aug., 1906 underlease whereby W[illiam] Isaac Iliffe let to H. Barber a plot fronting the south side of Park Rd. for 32 ft. 6 in. to a depth of 131 ft.(473 sq. yd. in area), demised to H. Barber from 25th Mar., 1906 for the residue of a 99-year term beginning 26th Dec., 1897; secondly, a 1st. Dec., 1930 legal charge whereby H. Barber mortgaged the premises to Clara Ellen Welton for £750; and thirdly, H. Barber's will, bequeathing to W.N. Barber the house called "Bryn Glas" erected on the land (with her death and probate as in 353/16/183): therefore, firstly, W.N. and E.M. Barber and W.J. Orton (described as in 353/16/183) assign to W.N. Barber, as beneficiary, the term's residue; secondly, the beneficiary covenants to pay the mortgage; thirdly, the executors (W.N. Barber et al) acknowledge the beneficiary's right to production of copies of H. Barber's probate.
