Correspondence and papers of Arthur William Robinson, Canon of Canterbury, mainly preparatory to the establishment by Archbishop Davidson in 1916 of the National Mission. They include minutes of a committee under Robinson's chairmanship at Beaconsfield, 4 October 1915 (ff.29-43), and The spiritual call to the Nation and the Church, October 1915 (ff.44-47v). The papers also include the report of a conference at Mansfield College, Oxford, between ministers of the Church of England and the Free Churches, 7-9 January 1920 (ff.170-88).
